Ash Wednesday Worship PDF Print E-mail

Ash WedMarch 1, 12 Noon or 7:00 PM

The Lenten Season begins on Ash Wednesday and lasts 40 days (excluding Sundays which are always feast days celebrating the resurrection).  Lent is understood as a time to reflect upon the way of baptism based upon the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Lent, therefore, is more than a time of penance and sacrifice.  It si a time of renewal and rebirth as we prepare ourselves for the promise of Easter.

We will have two services on Ash Wednesday; one at 12 Noon and the other at 7 PM.  On the following Wednesday in Lent, we will offer a midweek service starting at 6:05 PM in the style of size'.  Our meditations will focus on forgiveness.

Why Youth Ministry? PDF Print E-mail

Our philosophy of youth ministry is simple: create an environment that promotes discipleship. Our desire is that every student who walks through our doors be given this opportunity to pursue discipleship; and ultimately, the life of abundance that Jesus talked about.

The following chart summarizes, in 4 stages, how we intend to accomplish this philosophy within the context of our high school programs (Middle School Confirmation program is all-encompassing).

It's important to note that a program is only as successful as the relationships that enter into that program. Therefore, in the midst of these programs you will find spiritual leaders who live out Jesus' command to love God and love people.
