Welcome Back Church Family!

Re-Opening Information

Dear People of Peace,

In Ecclesiastes 3, we are told, ‘There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.’

In light of the positive news regarding infections and hospitalizations in our area, the Church Council has determined to open our sanctuary doors for worship starting October 4th for one service at 10:00 AM.

What does this mean?  First and foremost, it does not mean an end to our online presence.  We will continue to offer worship on YouTube and Facebook.  We will continue to offer all of our children’s, youth, and adult faith formation online.  Offering in-person worship is not intended to force anyone to make a choice between risking their health and participation in the life of our faith community.

Secondly, sectors of our population are more at risk than others.   If you or someone you care about, is a person of high-risk, we would ask you to refrain from attending.  The same would be true if you are showing signs of illness or have been around people who have been diagnosed as ill.

Third, if you wish to attend (and attendance will be limited to 70 people). Please click on the link below to read our "Guidelines for in-person worship" and then click "Worship Reservation" to secure your place. We have also added a "Quick Link" to the top, right hand section of this page that will take you directly to the Reservation Form. Feel free to also contact the office with any questions you may have.

As we go forward with this plan, we will need volunteers who are willing to serve as greeters at the registration table as well as ushers to escort people in and out.  If you are willing and able to assist once or twice per month, please contact the front office soon so we can provide you with a simple explanation of the responsibilities associated with the task.

Finally, we seek your prayers for the safety of all involved as well as for the ‘success’ of this endeavor.  As Ecclesiastes 3 states, (there is) ‘a time to scatter and a time to gather.’  Our prayer is this can be the first step toward the full re-gathering as the People of Peace.  Thank you for your patience as well as your faithfulness.

Peace,

Pal
