What is Camp Hope?

Camp Hope is a student-run, adult-mentored Christian day camp ministry where campers learn Bible stories and connect with staff. The student leaders are formed with support from adults within the congregation. Staff have a place to learn and grow as leaders and campers make deep connections with their fellow campers and staff mentors. All who participate deepen their faith and grow as disciples of Christ.

What does the Camp day look like?

We start and end each camp day with Alpha and Omega, our worship time. Campers are grouped into small groups according to age/grade and are led throughout their day by their Small Group Leader. Small groups rotate through Art, Drama, Games, Snack, and STEM. The camp day runs from 9am to 3pm. We offer a before and after camp option for an additional fee: 7:30-9am and 3-6pm.

Staff Applications Open Now

There are two ways to serve at Camp Hope —both are essential!

Unpaid Support Staff: Starting at age 13, people are invited to serve in volunteer leadership positions that require orientation and specific time commitments. Sign up for a specific role or to help one or more days.

Paid Staff: A limited number of people between the ages of 15 and 22 will be called to serve as small group leaders and directors. Paid staff are required to participate in pre-camp learning, attend the Staff Training Event, attend all staff meetings, comply with Safe Haven Guidelines and be prepared each day.
